Help & Documentation

Sift documentation for iPhone — calendar views, keywords, widgets, Apple integrations, sharing, and Sift Plus.

Sift is a calendar utility for iPhone. It reads the calendars you already use — iCloud, Google, Outlook, Exchange — and surfaces only the events that match views you define. Every match comes with a live countdown, on screen and in widgets.

Sift does not replace Apple Calendar. Your events stay where they are. Sift brings what matters into focus and shows how soon it’s happening.

What you’ll find here

These docs explain how Sift works in the app today: views, keywords, widgets, sharing, and Sift Plus. They follow the same terms you see in the app (view, keyword, Sift Plus — not “filter” or “tag”).

  • Getting started — install, grant calendar access, create your first view
  • Views — the core object in Sift
  • Widgets — Home Screen, Lock Screen, and StandBy
  • Sift Plus — subscription features

Privacy

Sift processes your calendar on-device. There is no account, no server, and no in-app analytics. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
